Sagra buqueti the Frog-legged Leaf Beetle from Asia..Sagra buqueti the Frog-legged Leaf Beetle from Asia A metalic beautiful beetle, Sagra buqueti the frog-legged leaf beetle is members of the Order Lepidoptera, Family Sphingidae, Genus Sagra. These bugs named frog beetle due to the large back legs. The beetles exoskeleton is green with a cerise and gold coloured band running down its back. As you can see this beetle is metallic looking all over. Cocoons of this beetle common found in jungle vines.
